BoardFold system set up on a dining table for game night

The fold-flat game-table topper

Upgrade game night without buying a game table.

Turn your dining table into a proper game-night setup — then pack it away.

Game night should not fight the table.

Protect the board from cups, runaway dice, and component drift without dedicating a room to permanent gaming furniture.

More than a playmat. A complete player-zone system.

The play surface is only the center. BoardFold is designed around the edge where players reach, sort, roll, and set down a drink.

Fit guide

Will it fit your table?

Choose by the clear, flat rectangle you have — not just the number of seats. The two footprints below are design targets pending physical-prototype fit and stability checks.

Get the verified fit guide
  • Game Night Kit116 × 71 cm rail target. Fits tables from 120 × 75 cm.
  • Campaign Host Kit146 × 86 cm rail target. Fits tables from 150 × 90 cm.
  • Still validatingEdge clearance, rail stability, packed profile and final component count.

The edge keeps cards, tokens, drinks, and dice off the main play surface.

Unfold. Zone. Play. Pack away.

A flat mat helps the middle. BoardFold is designed to give the whole table a clearer job.

Keep drinks outside play

Cup holders move glasses away from cards and cardboard.

Give every player a zone

Trays keep cards, tokens, and pieces from drifting into the middle.

Keep the dining room flexible

Bring out the game setup, then return the room to everyday use.

Choose the footprint that fits your game night.

Two complete setups, two table-size targets. All dimensions and component counts remain pending prototype validation.

Best for 4–6 players

Campaign Host Kit

Design target: 146 × 86 cm outer rail footprint for a clear tabletop from 150 × 90 cm.

Longer rails, larger felt surface and expanded player-zone capacity for component-heavy nights. Final contents pending prototype validation.

Designed around the real reset.

The intended experience is simple: set up a focused play space, play hard, then put the dining room back.

What we are validating next

  • 120 × 75 cm and 150 × 90 cm table-fit ranges.
  • Rail stability, edge clearance and player-zone layout.
  • Pack-away handling and carry-case profile for both footprints.
  • Final component mix and large-game compatibility.

Quick answers before you join.

Is this a full gaming table?

No. It is a tabletop kit that sits on your existing dining table.

What table sizes are you targeting?

Game Night Kit is a 116 × 71 cm outer-rail design target for a clear, flat table from 120 × 75 cm. Campaign Host Kit is a 146 × 86 cm target for tables from 150 × 90 cm. Final fit, edge-clearance and stability numbers will be verified with physical prototypes before Kickstarter.

Will it work with large Euro or campaign games?

Game Night Kit is for standard 2–4 player board-game sessions. Campaign Host Kit is the larger 4–6 player direction for component-heavy games. Exact usable play-area and accessory layout are pending physical prototype validation.

What about large-box campaign games?

We will publish a compatibility chart only after testing real board footprints and full component layouts on the Campaign Host prototype. BoardFold does not yet claim compatibility with any named game.

How does it handle drinks near the game?

Cup holders move drinks away from the main play surface. This reduces the risk of spills on cards and boards, but it is not a spill-proof guarantee.

Does it pack away?

Yes. Fold-flat rails and a carry case let you set up for game night, then return the dining room to normal. The final packed profile will be included in the fit guide.

Are these photos of the final product?

These are 3D renders created from our working CAD model. We are machining the first physical prototype now and will publish real photos and video before Kickstarter launches. Join the VIP list to get prototype updates first.

What materials are used? Is the felt removable?

Rails and trays use a combination of wood and metal hardware. Felt panels are designed to be removable for cleaning or replacement. Full material specs will be confirmed with the prototype.

How many players does it support?

Game Night Kit is designed for 2–4 players. Campaign Host Kit is the 4–6 player design target. Final player counts depend on the validated rail, tray and table-fit layout.

What about shipping and customs?

Shipping and any applicable customs fees are calculated separately at checkout. We are finalizing fulfillment regions before launch — join the VIP list to get shipping updates for your country.
